November’s Coffee

Guatemala Huehuetenango
Continent:Central America
Country: Guatemala
Region: Huehuetenango
Farm: La Bolsa
Process: Washed
Altitude: 1400 – 1600 Meters
Grade: Strictly High Bean (SHB)

This month’s coffee comes all the way from the town La Libertad, Huehuetenango of Guatemala. The farm started in 1965 after being bought out by Dr. Jorge Vides Molina. It’s name La Bolsa apparently comes from the fact that the area was located between two mountains. So, great coffee and scenic place, check!

The area has it’s own natural spring water and rivers that pass through the property. So this makes the washing process a bit easier. And pretty much everything from drying to milling to farming of the coffee happens in one place. All this makes for better quality control and some amazing cup of coffee!

As always, enjoy and let me know what you thought of the coffee!
